Malaysia apologises for asking women not to nag during coronavirus lockdown

02.04.20 / Malaysia apologised on Tuesday for telling women to speak with a cartoon cat voice, avoid nagging their husbands and to dress up at home, in a series of tips to avoid domestic conflicts during the coronavirus lockdown.

The online posters issued by the women’s affairs ministry with the hashtag translating as #WomenPreventCOVID19, sparked a public outcry and have since been deleted.
