Delphine D’Amarzit to become the first woman to head Paris Stock Exchange

Delphine d’Amarzit has been appointed CEO of the Paris Stock Exchange, the largest stock exchange in Europe Euronext announced.

Once regulatory and shareholder approvals are given, from 15 March 2021 D’Amarzit will be the first woman to hold the position at the Parisian branch of Euronext.

D’Amarzit has a great deal of experience of European and French capital markets. She joins from Orange Bank where, as Deputy CEO, she was responsible for the oversight of the Operations, Credit, Finance, Risk and Compliance functions. She’s also held senior positions within the French Treasury Department and was in charge of financial and economic affairs at the office of the Prime Minister from 2007 to 2009.
